Valentine’s Day 2027 is Sunday, Feb. 14. Raleigh Parks posts its Valentine’s programs in December and January, so 2027 dates are not out yet. Here is what the city ran in February 2026, so you know what to look for. Each date below is from 2026; we will replace them with 2027 dates as organizers post them.

  • Cupid’s Workshop: an evening for children to make handmade cards, gifts and keepsakes, with supplies provided. Registration was on RecLink (2026 event page).
  • Pals & Gals Vintage Valentines Party: vintage-inspired card-making with drinks and chocolates, for couples, friends and people looking to meet others. The museum said all profits support its free educational programs (2026 event page).
  • Family Fun Day Valentines: free card-making inspired by vintage valentines from the museum’s collection, at 220 Fayetteville St. No registration (2026 event page).

In 2025 the city also listed a free Valentine’s Date Night at the Chapel at Dix Park on Feb. 14, with a dance instructor, desserts and refreshments, and a My Best Gal/Guy & Me Red Carpet Dance for ages 6 to 15 with an adult at Laurel Hills Community Center (2025 city list). We did not find 2026 listings for either.

Dinners and date ideas

Restaurants announce Valentine’s menus on their own sites, usually in January; we add them here as they post. Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday in 2027, so many places will spread specials over the weekend of Feb. 12-14.
