Where it is
The city’s comprehensive plan says the Brier Creek Village plan covers about 300 acres south of Brier Creek Parkway, between Aviation Parkway and Lumley Road and north of I-540. It is laid out around Bruckhaus Street, a walkable main street running parallel to Brier Creek Parkway, with three activity centers about a quarter-mile apart: Brier Creek Elementary and a community center on the west, a commercial center in the middle, and stores, offices and greenway access on the east. The homes of the wider Brier Creek area spread north of the parkway.
All 16 points we checked inside the plan area were in ZIP code 27617. In a wider check around the area, a few points fell in Morrisville’s ZIP code, 27560; a Morrisville mailing address does not by itself mean a home is outside Raleigh. Check the parcel on Wake County’s iMAPS map.
