16 Raleigh restaurants and cafes whose own sites list a patio, deck, rooftop or courtyard seating, downtown, at Five Points, North Hills and North Raleigh.

Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Raleigh’s patios are spread around the city. About half are downtown and in the neighborhoods around it, from Boylan Avenue, Glenwood Avenue and Person Street out to Five Points, Brookside Drive and Whitaker Mill Road. Two are at North Hills and Six Forks Road, and the rest are in North Raleigh, from Creedmoor Road and Falls River to Brier Creek.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Raleigh’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. A place is on this list only if its own site says it has a patio, deck, rooftop, courtyard or outdoor seating; a review quote does not count. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry. Patios can close for weather, so call ahead.
