Every Raleigh where-to-eat list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, barbecue, breakfast and coffee, burgers, sushi, desserts, bakeries, patios and brunch.
Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
These are our lists of places to eat inside Raleigh’s city limits, one page per kind of food. Each list is alphabetical and gives every place’s address, the hours on its own website and its phone number, with a short note on what it serves.
How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. A few places with no website were confirmed through Wake County’s restaurant inspection data. No list is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on one. Run a restaurant? Before you go
Hours on these lists are the ones each place posts on its own website, and they change, especially around holidays and at the change of seasons. Many smaller Raleigh restaurants close on Monday or Tuesday, and several bakeries and coffee shops close by early afternoon. Where a place does not post its hours, the list says so and gives its phone number. Patios can close in bad weather, so call ahead if outdoor seating matters. Wake County inspects Raleigh restaurants, and a place’s latest score can be looked up through our inspection page.
