7 bakeries at 8 locations inside Raleigh city limits: bread, doughnuts, French pastry and cakes, from Person Street and Five Points to Brier Creek.

Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Raleigh’s bakeries sit close to downtown: on Dupont Circle, along Person Street north of downtown, on Glenwood Avenue, near Five Points and on Crabtree Boulevard. Two more are farther out, at Creekside Crossing on East Six Forks Road and in Brier Creek.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Raleigh’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added La Farm Bakery’s Glenwood Avenue cafe from its own site. Doughnut and cookie chains with many stores, and bakeries whose sites gave no Raleigh address, are left out. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
