Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Raleigh’s burger places run along the city’s main roads. Hillsborough Street and Glenwood Avenue have the oldest of them, close to downtown and NC State, and the rest are on Wake Forest Road, Wycliff Road, Atlantic Avenue and out to Creedmoor Road, Strickland Road and Falls of Neuse Road in North Raleigh.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Raleigh’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added the Char-Grill, Snoopy’s and Village Deli locations listed on their own sites. McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Hardee’s and Sonic have many Raleigh stores and are left out. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
