14 sushi, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese restaurants inside Raleigh city limits, from Fayetteville Street and City Market to North Raleigh.

Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Half of the restaurants on this list are downtown, on Fayetteville Street, at City Market and on Glenwood Avenue, Blount Street, Martin Street and Davie Street. The others are in midtown (Woodburn Road, Wycliff Road, Hardimont Road) and in North Raleigh, out to Duraleigh Road, Triangle Town Center and Falls of Neuse Road.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Raleigh’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. The list covers East and Southeast Asian restaurants; bubble tea shops are not included. Many of the map’s Chinese takeout restaurants have no website we could reach, and we have not listed a place we could not confirm. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
